  Applied for an expedited passport paid the extra fee have almost $100. Two weeks later found out that the clerk never had me sign in front of her. went in and took care of it. It took over an hour and a half to get through. When reapplying with KS (the clerk who helped me resubmit the second DS-11 for the signature) I told her I would be in Chicago on Thursday since I needed the passport on Friday I could stop and get it she told me no don't worry about it it will be in your PO Box by Friday morning. Friday morning came around and there was no passport played phone tag with them gave up on the post office and called the number on the website for passports played phone tag with them and then after $40 additionally, and a long day of stess 'keeping my phone close to me at work' they told me it should be here before 10am on Saturday. I'm praying this does not delay us to the point of being late and missing the wedding I was needing to leave last night for. Over all the entire experience was very stressful, expensive, and slightly un-successful. I had to pay extra for someone elses mistakes twice now. There are only two gals that do passports at Michigan City post office, while they are very kind their efficiency and accountability on what they tell the customers may not be so great as this experience shows. This trip is only to Canada but I can't imagine if I had a much bigger international trip that got messed up from this instance. Following up with them and making sure they are responsive to fixing the mistakes would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

  The Michigan City Post Office is a very friendly place with very friendly Clerks. Yes they may be short staffed, but what place isn't. Apparently no one goes to the grocery stores or Banks!

  The web site now says open at 6am. I thought that was very early so I went at 8am. On the door it says "open at 10am." Very frustrating! I must say, the workers are super friendly though. They cannot be blamed for this mistake.

  Very slow at everything and they lie i sent a package Saturday paid 35.00 to have it specially delivered on a Sunday at 3:30pm it didnt get there until the next business day ..i was told i could get my 35.00 dollars back but never did everybody gave me the run. Around about the issue they told me to go online when an employee told me to come in
